Fried Twinkies

I am not really a fan of twinkies. I see their only value as their methuselian (I just invented that word) lifespan. However, at the fair they batter them, deep fry them and sell them as hot, crispy bites of happiness. As you can see, I liked mine too much to wait to take the picture before eating. I like the texture and the the warmth of a freshly fried Twinkie. Like so many things (potatoes, fish, people trying to scale the walls of your castle), the addition of boiling oil makes all an ok thing great.
