Navajo tacos

I didn't eat a lot of the navajo taco, but it is fair food and so it gets a post. This taco was fine, but I gave some questions about Navajo tacos.
First, did the old Navajo people have refried beans, WHEAT FLOUR, and sour cream? I have a sneaking suspicion that Navajo tacos are to indigenous Navajo cuisine as Taxo Bell is to Mexican cuisine
