Kingman's Finest Thai Cuisine

On the selfsame trip to PHX to see Wicked, on the way down we were able to sample the wares of the world famous Bangkok Thai Cuisine in Kingman, Arizona. We know this place because Amy's folks eat there every time they visit family there. Afterwards, they come to house and remind us over and over how delicious it is and how we must eat there.

The problem is that, like Chik Fil A, they are closed on Sundays, which is when we usually are coming through Kingman (which has sent us to Mr. D's, on the same street). But, we travelled on a Friday this time, and we made it.
Architecturally, Bangkok Thai is not that inspiring.
I ordered a curry. It was great. I asked for it to be super spicy, and it was. Curry's are fun because they contain many different textures and flavors that are not usually found together, but get along just fine in your dish and mouth (kind of like we wish Palestine would be).

The best part of Bangkok Thai, was our waiter. Obviously a relative, maybe the son of the owners, he as brutally honest. For example, he doesn't really like the food on the menu. He doesn't like curry and he really isn't a fan of thai food.

I liked Bangkok Thai, I'd go again, but won't cry if I have to go to Mr. D's either.

I insist on you trying my favorite Thai restuarant next time you come down here. Siam Orchid is the best little mom and pop shop ever. We were so impressed the first time we tipped them huge the first time we came and ever since then they treat us like gold whenever we go in.
That picture of Dave cracks me up!
