Roller Skates, not just for roller rinks anymore

The kids got roller skates for Christmas.  I was concerned they would not be well received, especially since Santa brought them each a Nintendo DSi.  I was wrong.  Dead wrong.  On a non-school day, instead of the usual sound of frantic bare feet running down the hall, I hear the clunking of roller skates.  Liam literally wakes up, puts the roller skates on, and comes to breakfast.  They loooooove those skates.
