More Roos N More

I took all these pictures with my prime lens, that is, a lens with no zoom.  I bring this up so you know HOW FRIGGIN' CLOSE to these animals we were allowed to get.

Many of the animals here were rescued.  This tortoise, for example, had only three legs.  One had to be amputated.





Supposedly, this kangaroo, if we pissed it off, could kick me and throw me 15 feet.

The kangaroos were surprisingly soft to the touch.  Seeing their massive legs (with claws) up close, however, did inspire some respect.

Liam was willing to pet most of the animals, McKinna was NOT.
